"Winter Blood" is the name of a grandiose ambient project from Italy. The master himself contacted me and asked me a review of the debut album "Le Ali Fredde dell'Inverno" to write - of course I agreed immediately one!

reason for my quick reaction is mainly the songs that are heard at the Winter Blood-Myspace, I also have the CD cover and logo very convinced. Was drawn on the cover (or the other illustrations in the booklet properly shaped) by the way, "Elenora Bardi, a friend of the musician, the photos of the mighty mountains, however, he shot himself.

There are many different genres of ambient music. Some of them employ more of the atmosphere, while others put more on variety. - Definitely is crucial for the Blood winter atmosphere!
Since it is extremely difficult reviewn to meet an ambient work, I will describe the CD as a whole and not as usual dismember the disk into individual songs!

As before mentioned, I found equal pleasure in the music of the Italian, as I look at the promising Myspace Compilation sounded. I must say as an old ambient-trailer that ambient for me above all a Music of the emotions and the rest, and those emotions, which caused the music of Blood winter with me, were certainly a positive nature!
The atmospheric synthesizer sounds draw the listener into a stress-free, atmospheric world, beyond the everyday and the stress of an encounter daily. When listening to the sounds that exude a certain kind of eternal satisfaction, it seems to me as if I was even the eagle that flies over the mighty Alps, the lord of the skies, glides through the clouds and all about looking from above, or a Wolf, who wanders alone through the endless barren mountains, away from humanity and the unbearable noise.
The smooth, gentle sounds tell stories of mountains, lakes and pristine quiet nature as one finds them in reality, unfortunately, only rarely.
The matching pictures in the booklet also tempted to dream and inspire the imagination. Who
Ambient Vinterriket groups such as gas or not is unknown, which determines know what I mean!

Musically the work can not be described in more detail, as I said is Ambient very expressive, albeit more simple music.
me the work "Le Fredde dell'Inverno Ali" has very overwhelmed! It's been an honor to describe this CD. The world of Ambient is great, but I can actually only a few groups of this genre so much as convince Winter Blood. So perfect
seem like the work but ... it is a criticism, however: it is not what everyone! Especially people who have no patience and are very anxious to be with the CD in general not be pleased.
