Endlich! Große Freude überkam mich, als von their Morbid Winter Records darüber in Kenntnis set, it was that the Slovaks of Karpathia in April 2009 their first album was released in full length!
Instantly I was a promo editions and asked me for support.
I fascinated about the demo of this ground-Horde, I took the job with pleasure.
should indeed take a while before I could turn to the silver disc, but the wait is over and now follows the description of "original home - VOLANI Havranov.

means the title of the CD "original home - the cries of the ravens." The walnut wood brown album cover is my opinion one of the best that I have come across lately. It shows an old rocks in the Carpathian Mountains on whose summit a medieval castle stands. At the foot of the mountain, driving a cart into a lake and in the evening sky turn ravens their rounds over the country. Top left is the logo, it also provides the image with a wave-like frame decorated elaborately.
As always sing the Slavic comrades in their texts, the pan-Aryan traditions and cultural values of their people.

Here follows the insight into the musical world of dark Carpathian sons
The first track "Prastara Krv"'s doing it already. A fast-paced Gitarrengetöne, accompanied by rattling drums, loses itself gradually in a melodic sound world accompanied by epic keyboard sounds are heard in the background quietly and build up a huge atmosphere.

As in Unlike the demo on the whole not a lot of variety found on this CD, it's worth it now to mention two other tracks:
The fifth track "V Plameni Zatmenej Pravdy" a great ambient work with magical sound art and the last track, " Stronghold of Night Wolves ", which can also be seen as an outro and listen to what even particularly quiet clean guitar and keyboard sounds are gentle.

The keyboard and cawing, and clean vocals are flawless, especially the key board down again on a mystical atmosphere, which fits nicely with the concept of the album.
As for the guitar work, since the demo in my opinion Unfortunately after a couple of deterioration occurred because of the great, atmospheric riffs of "Briezdenie nad Striebornou Zemou was largely unfortunately a chaotic mess.
That may sound harsh, but some listeners might just like all the more better, it's just a matter of taste!
Finally, I can only say that despite some small disappointments is a commendable work in but in my opinion, not with the much more fluid demo atmosphere comparable.

It is now already a few weeks ago, the Italian Legion "Movimento d'Avanguardia Ermetico "made contact with me.
After a short conversation, we decided to go for joint cooperation and thus it was concluded even then that the Lord gave me two promo CD's were coming.
I had in the last few days very little time to look after me to new promotional material, it took a while until I turn the CD's could. With astonishment I found that practicing the men absolutely worth listening to sounds and in fact, I regretted it almost had me that I was not already taken for the promos period.

But more insight into the first demo CD "All Frontiere dell'anima.
The disc has a playing time of about 20 minutes and includes (including Outro) 4 quite sounding title! Published

The cover of the demo shows a lush mountain landscape, in terms of design but especially mentioned the remarkable logo of the Legion (here on the cover not to be seen, unfortunately)! "Abandoned" is the name of a German black metal project, which now drives since the spring of 2008 on the loose! It was founded by Czernozar (all instruments).
few days ago is the latest album of the political solo project released and consists largely of experimental sounds. There is no way to lush Black Metal, but also have industrial and ambient music's strong influence on Czernozar! More details to follow soon ...

The title of the CD in any case "retaliatory missile" is. The plant is about 20 minutes running time (because of me it would be quiet anymore!) And includes four tracks of raw cruelty and despicable sermons against the current, weak world in which we eke out our daily existence.

To the first track, "fascist" to look more closely:
The song starts with a repetitive drum sound you hear is produced by a drum machine. Shortly after the beginning you will hear a noise, which is like a cannon shot. Supported by the harsh electric guitar and the cannon shooting sets, this title now on, until the hate-filled voice is heard Czenozars. "fascist" is in my opinion the most successful song on the disc and how do I find it very suspicious cult!

After 5 minutes of battle noise is heard, a well-known song. It is Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," which is used here as an intro for the second title "NSBM Hammer"!
The wicked song echoes through an instrumental, which consists again of a drum machine and a rather primitive reef. Ca. from half of the song the good old cannon shots are heard, that bring the song also later in the turn: the drum speed is reduced significantly and in the background is a resounding quote from the Soviet film "Come and see" to hear.
a brief moment the only sounds echoing voice before the terrible cry of the musician breaks the silence and short-term peace will be executed by the guitars really!
The song continues as the beginning and end, then slowly lower part with the familiar mid-tempo.
The text is the way of "the unity of the Aryan peoples under the banner of the National Socialist Black Metal" (otherwise you can not describe it well).

Rasant begins after the following titles "blood cult." The song is, as the title suggests, and some significant passages can be about the "purity of blood".

salvation, the voice of the ancestors

More words you do not need to explain the meaning and significance of the song!
Again, the reef is rather rough and primitive, as with the other songs is the "basement" quality to clearly heard, but the song in comparison to the previous title much clearer. Later

In later parts of the song to hear ambient sounds, which silenced the song, ultimately, softly. This song is my opinion, the monotonous on the "retaliatory missile" and not necessarily the most outstanding.

The black-metal album "retaliatory missile" this German band could well soon have a cult political position in the Black Metal scene are taking (especially the descriptive texts would contribute very well to this development). I personally remember the scheme of the CD very much of military hammer, 5:45 and similar bands, especially the song has, in my opinion, parallel with the old Wolf Eight plants.

The Polish pagans "Stworz" have published in March 2008 their first demo.
The name of the phonogram is "Blask nad Wiecznymi Lasami", in German as much as "A bright light on the eternal forests".
The guys kindly sent me a copy of their demo and I commissioned a review of the tape to be published in the magazine!
A big thank you is so pronounced in the band.

about the band itself can not tell much else. The line-up does not publish precise details about themselves and act anonymously.
The only thing you can tell, is that the band was founded in 2007 and since then has been active in the underground scene of the Polish Gentiles.

The simple design of the cover demo shows a snow-covered pine forest floor.
The cover would have of course a little more imaginative may be, but that is a not so discourage the music closer to take a closer look!
It is with the rest of the layout is also looking better. A faint signal reveals the political opinion of the Polish group: a sun appears in the booklet of the tape triumphantly to the fore!

"Zmierzch nad Slavia" is the first title of the demo, accompanied by the sounds of nature sounds very slowly when you play the tape.

The drums in this song is done very slowly and also contributes to the supposedly depressed sounds.

However, this brings only a very short light into the gloomy mood of the work, as the Horde takes all their strength together to devote themselves towards the end of the tape again to the harsh atmosphere! this nearly 40-minute work followed by a folky acoustic outro, that still supported by a keyboard (at least I would assign a high piano-like tones such).

In the end just a very nice work! For a demo, it can be seen, has surprised me most the length, after all, it is above the norm of a black metal demo, but that does not bother me really!
course - "the longer" is not equal "better", but the Slavic comrades have with "Blask nad Wiecznymi Lasami" (as the unpronounceable title for someone with a German mother tongue may be) proved that they loyal folk, nature-loving and very atmospheric black metal master! The only criticism is the life ... but hey, it's in the work mainly to the atmosphere and is given here definitely!

When I demo "Z najhlbsej Noci" (what a mouthful) of the relatively young Slovak band Concubia Nocte "(which is, incidentally, part of the new underground movement UBMR) recently got her hands on, I noticed before the gloomy artwork on showing a dark forest. Very curious to see how this work may sound only I threw it in my tape recorder and gave me the dark sounds ...

The first song "Ozveny TMY" started with a eerie, ethereal melody. Once the drum starts, you will notice about which musical art it is:
The type of music is strongly reminiscent of Graveland and other more epic heavy Pagan / Black Metal bands from the Slavic countries.
The second song of the work begins with a wolf howling before the harsh guitars rebuild a dark Atmospähere.
Also, the other songs on many installations of natural sounds.

All in all I must say that this work for a demo very successful, though not necessarily above average.
For me, proved that the Slovak colleagues play satisfactory, harsh Black Metal particularly atmospheric comes over.

"Winter Blood" is the name of a grandiose ambient project from Italy. The master himself contacted me and asked me a review of the debut album "Le Ali Fredde dell'Inverno" to write - of course I agreed immediately one!

reason for my quick reaction is mainly the songs that are heard at the Winter Blood-Myspace, I also have the CD cover and logo very convinced. Was drawn on the cover (or the other illustrations in the booklet properly shaped) by the way, "Elenora Bardi, a friend of the musician, the photos of the mighty mountains, however, he shot himself.

As I said, but the booklet of their release brings the first plus points! But what is most important is, of course the music! I have sufficiently dealt with this publication and they are well rehearsed in the appropriate atmosphere, before I am writing the review had begun. Well said

There are many different genres of ambient music. Some of them employ more of the atmosphere, while others put more on variety. - Definitely is crucial for the Blood winter atmosphere!
Since it is extremely difficult reviewn to meet an ambient work, I will describe the CD as a whole and not as usual dismember the disk into individual songs!

As before mentioned, I found equal pleasure in the music of the Italian, as I look at the promising Myspace Compilation sounded. I must say as an old ambient-trailer that ambient for me above all a Music of the emotions and the rest, and those emotions, which caused the music of Blood winter with me, were certainly a positive nature!
The atmospheric synthesizer sounds draw the listener into a stress-free, atmospheric world, beyond the everyday and the stress of an encounter daily. When listening to the sounds that exude a certain kind of eternal satisfaction, it seems to me as if I was even the eagle that flies over the mighty Alps, the lord of the skies, glides through the clouds and all about looking from above, or a Wolf, who wanders alone through the endless barren mountains, away from humanity and the unbearable noise.
The smooth, gentle sounds tell stories of mountains, lakes and pristine quiet nature as one finds them in reality, unfortunately, only rarely.
The matching pictures in the booklet also tempted to dream and inspire the imagination. Who
Ambient Vinterriket groups such as gas or not is unknown, which determines know what I mean!

Musically the work can not be described in more detail, as I said is Ambient very expressive, albeit more simple music.
me the work "Le Fredde dell'Inverno Ali" has very overwhelmed! It's been an honor to describe this CD. The world of Ambient is great, but I can actually only a few groups of this genre so much as convince Winter Blood. So perfect
seem like the work but ... it is a criticism, however: it is not what everyone! Especially people who have no patience and are very anxious to be with the CD in general not be pleased.

What friends of Vinterriket and similar projects, nature lovers and meditative music as well as admirer of the final award concerning the pagan nature ... I advise you one thing: you bought this brilliant CD!

few months ago, I had the German band rite their latest demo "From night thoughts" to come.
When I took the packet counter and opened it, I was particularly impressed by the elaborate packaging of the tape: see in a black paper envelope on which the logo is rite ... A very original idea, have to hand it to them!

Since the cover of the work looked very promising, I was full of anticipation and curiosity, what kind of musical art of music it may be, for this work.

The cry of a crow announce at the beginning of a dark and eerie world of the occult, which enters the listener through this work ...

After the end of the intro "Moonrise," immerses the listener in an even much more pronounced melancholic atmosphere. The distorted electric guitar is accompanied by rapid drums, which therefore crackles at a rate such that it could be confused with a smooth anti-aircraft gun! Fortunately
is in this song but rather the dramatic melody in the foreground, rather than the monotonous bludgeoned the drums.

This song, "Wrapped in snow and starlight ..." is recommended by the way very much, for me personally it is the favorite on this record!

with a rather dull percussion sound to announce the third track on the demo. "The night of occult rites," is alone with the title again the fascination of the three Bavaria for occult and magic expressed.

After a long captivity in this spell, all the instruments fall silent.

The emergence of the one part of the desperate cries and the other hand, the quiet, dark Krächzstimme is apparently a kind of schizophrenia symbolizes.
The end of the song just described is very scary and presents a likely Dialogue between the protagonist and his second "I". Finally, to compare
the musical nature of this demo on the whole: the music reminds me in part to Burzum, Gorgoroth and on some old plant.

In the end, I must say that I was convinced the work very much!
Apart from the musical talent of this band (for a demo more than clean) should be appreciated the occult themes of the demo "From night thinking" very. The music and lyrics by
excited mood generated (as has often stressed) to much to think about!
this demo tape I can definitely recommend, if you have the opportunity - get hold of a copy and look for upcoming releases of the band rite!
